Sand sample #7 is basically tan and light brown with dark specks in it.
The angularity of the individual particles is subangular. The entire
sample is moderately sorted. The most outstanding physical
characteristic of the sand is its variety in color. The sand ranges in
several shades of brown and purple and it also contains clear grains
like quartz. Our group also noticed that the sand appeared half light
and half dark in color, so the sand is both dark and light at the same
time. This sand is a very interesting blend of grain colors. |
