Sand
sample #50 is sub rounded. It is well sorted with a tan color. There is
very little, but some hematite within the sample. Most of the sand
grains are quartz and translucent. Within the sample there is one large
grain which we are guessing is a rock. Our sand sample contains no
organic grain. All of the grains are sub rounded but 66% of the grains
are a white quartz grain. |
