"How do the physical characteristics of beach sand
change as you travel from Maine to Florida?"
That is the question we are attempting to answer in this lab.
We've collected samples from beaches along the Atlantic and Pacific Coastlines. By
clicking on the yellow dots, you can view the individual pages created
for each location. Also, on each page, are digital gross images of the
sand sample as well as 10-power digital microscopic images of the sand
along with a brief essay describing the sample. By visiting our data
page, you can see all of the images together along with more data. |
