In this sample the grains dispersed mainly into the
bottom 3 sieves and 92% was in the “5” sieve. It was really fine.
Approximately 98% of the sample was Quartz and transparent. The other 2%
was Hornblende which was opaque. The Quartz grains were sub-rounded
while the Hornblende was much more angular. Overall the sample looked
really light or off white with a few specks of black.
