"The area I got my sand is from the private section of Minot Beach (Fig. 1). The beach is rocky, and has some nice sand (Fig. 2). The exact location is on Surfside Road (Fig. 5) . This area gets hit with a lot of storms. The area was once nice sand, but the storms have piled rocks on top of rocks. The beach also contains "Elephant Rock" (Fig. 3) is usually not very crowded. Big boulders, and little rocks are scattered everywhere (Fig. 4). The lighthouse seen at the top of Figure 6 is  Minot's Light that blinks 1-4-3 I -Love -You." Caitlin Connolly Images and Words

ESSAY

Sand sample number 32 is basically beige in color. The angularity of the individual particles is angular. The entire sample is moderately sorted. The most outstanding characteristic of the sand is that all of the sand groups look the same in size. Only a few pieces of the sand are bigger than the others
