Sample 8
came from Marco Island. The sand appeared to be a mixture of large
shells and small shells mixed in with big an small pieces of broken
shell. There were not a lot of large shells, the majority of the sample
was very small pieces of shell that made it’s way down to the fourth
sieve level. The shells were a mixture of colors, some shells having
tints of blue and red. |
