ESSAY
Sand sample number 6 is from Kure Beach, NC and is basically tan with
orange, black and white tiny pieces in and on its surface. The
angularity of the individual particles is subangular. The entire sample
is moderately sorted. One of the most outstanding physical
characteristic of the sand is that the sand has many small pieces of
shell on and it the sand particles and the shells are many different
colors. |
