9/15/08 Be sure you have your bag for collecting samples today. BE SURE to bring in a box that will hold your sample to be sent to ASU tomorrow.  
9/16/08 Select which method you want to use to count the salt grains in you sample tomorrow.  
9/17/08 Complete your salt calculations.  
9/18/08 Complete your work on discovering how many 121s it would take to hold 200,000,000,000 grains of salt.  
9/19/08 Lab Report Due Tuesday

Don't forget the safety signoff sheet tomorrow. Also, if you didn't e-mail me your survey, be sure to drop it off in 101A today. Also bring in your beach feature check-off sheet tomorrow.  
9/9/08 Bring in you field trip permission slip by Friday Field Trip Permission Slip
9/10/08 Start hunting for a strong box and packing material to ship your rock to ASU next week. The rock should be no more than 5 inches in diameter, so plan accordingly.  
9/11/08 Design a lab to see if there are 200,000,000,000 objects in a given area. (I don't want to tell you what the "area" is here; all was explained yesterday. Trust me, it makes sense.  
9/12/08 Be sure to have a bag to carry your samples with you on Monday.

Return Safety Form by Tuesday and e-mail me the Survey by Sunday. The program saved the spreadsheet as a compressed file. I don't know how to change that. If you do, go for it! If you have Excel, use these headings shown below,  and e-mail it to me. If you can't. Drop the surveys, with your name on them,  off in my office, 101A, sometime Monday.
